Need help solving this! Really counfused! Please explain! http://prntscr.com/dg5uuw
Find the angle of the inside first. Remember that the angles of a triangle add up to 180 degrees.
Okay! So the missing angle for the inside is 80?
@steve816
Correct, now the other angle is complementary, so all you do is 180 - 80.
So when I subtract 80 from 180 I get my angle for CAD
angle is supplementary*
@Vijeya3 THe last time I took geometry class was in 8th grade lol.
oh LOL sorry thenx'D
No, don't be sorry, thanks for correcting be xD
So is that correct Steve? :L
|dw:1481053145079:dw|
angle X = 90 + 20
Theorem:- The external angle of a triangle is equal to the sum of the 2 opposite internal angles.
* correction 80 + 20
So x=180??
NO x = 80 + 20 = 100
Oh okay, sorry. I don't think I read that correctly.
thats OK So in your diagran m<CAD = 80 + 20 = 100 degrees
Okay! Thank you! :)
the way steve did it was correct but the external angle theorem is more direct.
Okay! Thanks for letting me know! :)
