zepdrix (zepdrix):

Log addition to multiplication property: \(\large\rm ln(A)+ln(B)\quad=\quad ln(AB)\) Apply this property first, what do you get? :d

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

The natural log of 4 = 0.60205999133 So, we can write the equation as: ln (3x) = 2 -0.60205999133 ln (3x) = 1.3979400087

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

The anti-log of 1.3979400087 is 25 25/3=8.3333333333 So, x=8.33333333333
