can someone explain to me what a sequence is. And can you an example too so i can really understand.

zepdrix (zepdrix):

A sequence is a list of numbers. We usually separate each number in the list with a comma. Example: 1, 5, 7, 4, -2, 11, 0, 1 Another example: 200, 5, 12, 1.2, 9 There are special types of sequences that follow specific patterns such as an arithmetic sequence or geometric sequence.

OpenStudy (nesha97):

oh okay so its just a list of numbers

OpenStudy (nesha97):

well a just a normal sequence is right? not other types of sequence right??

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Well in a arithmetic sequence the numbers follow a pattern, they increase in a specific order. Example: 4, 8, 12, 16, 20 I'm not really sure what your question is :d

OpenStudy (nesha97):

I was just trying to understand sequences I think I know it now thank you
