OpenStudy (milrawr):

e^(4x−10)=13

OpenStudy (milrawr):

Please someone help. I have a test tomorrow and I don't understand this.

OpenStudy (sunnnystrong):

We just did this one :( & You got it right lol

OpenStudy (milrawr):

it's not ln(13)

OpenStudy (danjs):

you can use the inverse of exponential e, log base e or natural log \[\large \ln(e^u)=u\]

OpenStudy (sunnnystrong):

nooo... we got so far up to : \[4x-10=\ln(13)\] right? now just solve for x

OpenStudy (milrawr):

x=(ln(13)+10)/4

OpenStudy (milrawr):

but we're not allowed to use our calculators so how would i solve it

OpenStudy (sunnnystrong):

That's the right answer DW haha

OpenStudy (sunnnystrong):

in exact form **

OpenStudy (milrawr):

OH NVM i'm so stupid i didn't see it correctly thank you.

OpenStudy (sunnnystrong):

NP :D You did it all yourself lol
