The specific heat of substance X is 200 J/g*C, how much heat is required to change the temperature of 2.0 grams of substance X from 35 degrees Celsius to 55 degrees Celsius?
I dont want answer, just want to know how to do it like the equation
@Elsa213
Erm... e.e
Lemme tinkk
@Skyvoltage
@Skyvoltage43
do you just multiply 2.0x200x20?
35-55=20
thats backwards but u know what i mean
@desmarie
I gewgled et... https://www.physicsforums.com/threads/specific-heat-problem-in-celsius.364910/
The answer choices are 4000 J 8000 J 18000 J 36000 J
do you need me?
if i were to multipy by the 2000 it would not be an answer choice
sky would i just multiply (2.0)(200)(20)
thats what i would do
alright thanks both of you :3
welcome
I tagged Sky doe So I am flawless <3
was that answer right hayz?
did you get the answer?
well when i multiply those together i get 8000 which is an option
it should be correct....I had my physics tutor solve it for you and he got the same answer
Okay thanks :)
