i have more
Parth:
3x - 25 = 6x - 80 cuz vertical angles are equal
3x = 55
x = 55/3
Parth:
x + (3x+30) = 90

thats not a option on there
joshiscool:
@MARC @Marziman
Parth:
solve the equation
MARC:
Parth is right.

\(4x+30=90\)
Subtract both sides by 30
joshiscool:
but its not a option on the assignment
MARC:
\(4x+30-30=90-30\)
MARC:
\(4x=60\)
MARC:
div both sides by 4

\(\frac{4}{4}x=\frac{60}{4}\)
joshiscool:
its 15
MARC:
yep,that's right!

^ thats the one
MARC:
yep,that's right.
\(z+43=180\)
MARC:
\(z=180-43\)
Marziman:
X = 15, Josh for an angle to be complementary the 2 need to add up and form a right angle so
3*15+30 = 75 then + angle 1 = 90
MARC:
\(z=137\)

corresponding angle
\(\angle~s=\angle~u\)
MARC:
\(\angle~u+158=180\)
MARC:
\(\angle~u=22\)
MARC:
sub. the value of angle u into this eqn to find the value of angle s
\(\angle~s=\angle~u\)

\(\angle~s=?\)
joshiscool:
so do i subtract those?
MARC:
hmm,what do u mean?
MARC:
oh I c...
sub.
> substitute
MARC:
sub. means substitute.
