so An odd number would be 5/10 and then we take that one away... the second half is pulling a number higher than 9 out of a set of 9 slips (pretend the number 1 is gone). That could only be the number 10 making the second one 1/9. I think we multiply 5/10 by 1/9 and simplify to get that answer

Second question... the probability of drawing 1 white is 2/5 and it wants the probability of drawing a second white card without replacement... so 2/5 and without replacing the taken card you get 1/4...
