A bag contains balls with the numbers 1 through 7 on them. A ball was drawn 165 times. The one ball was drawn 10 times, the three ball was drawn 12 times, the five ball was drawn 7 times, and the seven ball was drawn 9 times. What is the experimental probability of drawing an odd number?

Hero:

Hint: Experimental probability is the ratio of the number of times an event occurs to the total number of trials or times the activity is performed.

Hero:

So in other words if we were to write experimental probability for what the question asks for in this case, then we would write: \(P(ODD) = \dfrac{a}{b}\) Where \(P(ODD)\) is the experimental probability of drawing an odd ball \(a\) = the total number of times an odd ball was drawn \(b\) = the total number of times the ball was drawn
