Figure ABCDE is the result of a 180 °rotation of figure LMNOP about the point. Which angle in the pre-image corresponds to ∠D in the image? Enter your answer in the box. ∠

@psirockin2 @Warriorz13 @JustSaiyan
Angle O
It is the same image, mirrored and rotated 180 degrees. O is D. They are the same degree.
Thanks.
Your welcome
@JustSaiyan must be synonymous with "JustAnswers". That would explain why @Allison does not want my help.
Or I just don't want your help. Nick only helped with this question.
Right. Do you understand the concept of 180 degree rotation? Can you explain how the process works in detail?
You got help with the question so surely you must understand the concept now @Allison
Would you I rather have said flipped? Or should I have said "180 Degree rotation from the very middle.
Or any point, really.
It's just like the other one you did. It's just the reflection of it but rotated 180 degrees.
@Allison, explain the concept of "180 degree rotation". What does it mean?
Saying that something is 'mirrored' or 'rotated' 180 degrees doesn't explain what 180 degree rotation means.
You rotate something 180 degrees e.e
This is funny to me.
Isn't everything?
"They are the same image, reflected off of point F, and rotated 180 degrees, meaning O is D, C is N, etc etc. And 180 rotation is turning an object from it's original position, to a position in the opposite direction, so if this were an arrow pointing up, it would be pointing down after the rotation.
I did give an explanation. So it isn't `JustAnswers`.
You gave a better explanation just now, which would have been acceptable to give the first time but without giving the answer. In other words you could have left out the phrase 'meaning O is D'. You could also have challenged @Allison by giving the explanation and then following up with a question like, "Do you understand what I am describing here? Do you think you might be able to figure out which point reflects the 180 degree rotation of D?".
But that is no different than pointing at the correct answer answer underlining it. What is the point of leading them to it, if we are still going to show them the answer?
Giving the answer first without giving an explanation or attempting to challenge the asker is the problem.
Because the goal is to help the asker understand how to solve these questions on their own.
It was just a question. Shut up already.
@Allison, this is a training session I'm having with @JustSaiyan
Alright. I will guide them to the answers.
Have it in another post. Or you might as well delete this without asking :)
So explanations first, followed by question, than further explanation and example if necessary.
Actually, IDEALLY, it's supposed to be a "discussion" in the form of Asker: Question Helper: Concept Question (Are you are of the existence of a particular concept/formula) Asker: Yes or No Helper: I can go over "Concept A" if you like Asker: Okay Helper: Explanation of concept provided. Do you understand Concept A better? Asker: Yes or No Helper: Provides Further explanations or examples if necessary. Then gets to the point where he or she asks the user, if they are able to finish or solve the rest of the problem on their own.
are is supposed to be "aware" btw. Are you AWARE of the existence of a particular concept/formula*
Shut up.
e.e
Yes I see that. I will save that. Thank you, @Hero.
@Allison only someone looking for JustAnswers would be displeased with this.
Right.
