Couldn't find the Geography section~
@JustSaiyan Readeh? o:
yello
Hai der boo
Sure.
First slide all done with my name on it and the title: Earthquakes
Ground shakes. If the magnitude is strong enough, it can shift the tectonic plates, causing Tsunamis, sinkholes, and volcanic eruptions.
^
^^
They are caused when rock deep underground crumbles, shifting the weight, causing seismic waves that cause the ground shaking, thus causing the tectonic movements, causing the volcanic orgasms....I mean eruptions.
Moved to Geology (of which I should probably rename to Geography)
Geology = The study of rocks.
Geography = Not the study of rocks
i study rocks
Okay, so that's part A? A. Give a basic description of how the natural hazard functions. B. What are the main causes of the natural hazard you have chosen?
I gave you both.
Guys please don't use this post as a chat, I really need help on this.
Add "crumbling of rock deep underground"
and "Seismic waves"
moved to Geography, and created the subject Geography.
Where? Nick
I can't really be listing them in like dots like that, they need to be like 1-2 sentences ;-;
Add "Crumbling of rock deep underground causing a shift in the weight, creating seismic waves, which shake the earth, and can sometimes cause shifts in the tectonic plates, resulting in sinkholes, Volcanic eruptions, and Massive Tsunamis" and remove what you have for part two.
I'm sorry if this is asking a lot v.v
Not really. All you really need to do is spend a month stuck in the living room with my Grandfather, and you will know EVERYTHING. Except math.
Looks good.
OMG XD
I need your Grandfather xD
Last week they had a WWII documentary with actual footage, and interviews with some of the soldiers. Fun fact: Some of the elite Nazi forces were Children fighting for candy.
From the ages of twelve, to sixteen.
Those are not children xD Teenagers
twelve is not a teenager.
12-16 has teenagers ._.
13-19 is a teenager.
note TEEN has to be at the end of it
is it twelvTEEN? or just twelve? :3
Okay okay quit moving on~~
How did we go from Earthquakes to a heated debate about the hazy borders of age groups?
Who knows
Not sure.
And that, is Question Cove in a nutshell.
It's 1-3 slides, Nick. Do I just put one?
I though you said twenty.
1-3 slides about that
Gosh, wait.
Oh. >:D Stretch it out. "Parrt about how earthquakes begin" "part about how it can lead to Volcanic Eruptions" "Part about Tsunamis"
I'll just make 2 slides. 1 with info, second with a picture for example O:
Tr3 is typing a reply
Ok then ._.
That's quite the reply you got there
And that, people, is how you school.
YEET
Okay give me a moment to do that and find a picture.

You're welcome.
No, like a picture showing that Earthquakes causing those things.
Be back later. Something just came up.
It will be unlikely to find a photo of that.
@JustSaiyan
Oh You meant a diagram. I could have gotten that.
http://prntscr.com/gsqahz This is the second slide. Do they look good so that I can move on?
Think of it as a spoon in a cup of water. Touch the tip of the spoon to the far bottom side of the cup, and pull it out dragging it up the side. The water will push to the sides, then spring back. Same with Tsunamis, only a lot bigger.
Second slide is great.
So I change the third one?
Also, second one is great because you wrote it XD
No, they are are fine. I was just elaborating, because I love natural disasters. Except hurricanes. They are kind of boring.
Omg lol
Wind, water, blah blah. Earthquakes are much more interesting.
Welp, I'm doing a whole project about them because you said so xD
What is the next slide?
please please please be about the damages caused.
Hold on~
There are many Earthquakes in Alaska, as well as in California.
They occur wherever there are faults in the earth
They can appear anywhere, as there are faults all over the world, but they are most common at the edges of the tectonic plates.
What do I title the slide? @JustSaiyan
I don't know.
._.
Title it "Stuff"
;-; I'll think of something~
@JustSaiyan
There aren't really any conditons, it just happens.
How's this?
Looks good.
As for a model....hm... I suppose jenga could be a somewhat decent example. Stack the pieces, pull out the bottom pieces, causing it to fall over.
Gahhh D:
Except it is a Janga tower that is so large it shakes the ground.
Or possibly when your bread on your sandwich tears down the middle.
It's not asking for an example though
A model/ Simulation.
How's this?

@JustSaiyan
Sure.
"Sure." Mkai.
It feels empty o.0

And the second slide had the picture with it too.
@JustSaiyan I have like today and tomorrow for this ._.
How many slides do you have now?
5
five....out of twenty.....
;-; I'm sorry
Nikki -.- @JustSaiyan
Well the ground must shake, if that helps.
XD
How do I create a model or diagram for it?
I don't know. Get a bucket of that moving sand, turn your phone to vibrate and put it in with a ball you made of the sand.
I'm not about to do any of that.
WAIT, got any jell-o?
YES
I'mma go eat it thanks for remind me LOL
Put it in a container, put the container on your phone, and turn it on vibrate.
~When you don't have a phone~
I'mma ask my teacher if I can use this..http://www.earthquake3d.com/ It's so cool and LIVE o:
Use someone elses.
My laptop just shut off. And my PowerPoint slides didn't save and got deleted. I'm going to have to do them all again. Might take all night now.
thats a nightmare
