If ey/n+k=t, what is y in terms of e, n, k, and t?
Hello @Jay082203 ! Welcome! For your problem, in order to find "what is y" we should try to do stuff to both sides; to get y alone on one side for instance, the first step would be to subtract k from both sides: (e*y)/n + k = t - k - k (e*y)/n = t - k The other stuff crowding the y that we want to find is the e and the n the n is attached to the y through division, so we should do the opposite of division to detach it so multiply both sides by n (then divide e from both sides by the same logic) (be careful to not break the subtraction on the other side when doing this) Tell me what you get, or if you get stuck / would like a different point of view explanation :)
