Well A and B has the conjunction 'and', so it's none of those. C added 'before I have to ask you.' This phrase is a clause since it has a Subject, Verb, and an Object. Therefore it's also not an adverb phrase. D only added 'before eating'. 'eating' is a verb, and an adverb is something that kinda describes the verb, which would be the word 'before'. So D has an adverb phrase.
