@ObtuseAngle In order to solve this you need to know the slope formula: \[ \huge~\rm~\bf\color{blue}{ \frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}=slope}\] So when the question asks that you find the slope of AB you would take the coordinates given for both: A(-5,1) B(-2,5) Now you would label each number within the coordinates, since A is first (remember (x,y): -5=x1 1=y1 -2=x2 5=y2 Plug the labeled numbers into the slope formula: \[ \huge~\rm~\bf\color{blue}{ \frac{5-1=4}{-2-(-5)}=slope}\] Two minus signs turn into a + \[ \huge~\rm~\bf\color{blue}{ \frac{5-1=4}{-2+5=3}=slope}\] So for AB the slope is: \[\huge~\rm~slope=\frac{ 4 }{ 3 }\] Attempt the rest on your own, let me know if you have questions OR if you get stuck! Good luck! :~)
