Wiesel states that forgetting is necessary because the ability to forget allows _. the dead to rest in peace people to forgive and be forgiven people to avoid being haunted by the past people to live without the constant fear of death
Im thinking C or B, because having the ability to forget does not or would not get rid of a constant fear of death, nor does it allow the dead to rest in peace.
So that gets rid of two .
So its not A or D????
A and D are eliminated.
@ThisGirlPretty
@Felicity96 , is there a story with this? o:
The answer is most likely B. You can't continue to hate someone if you don't remember what they did to you in the first place.
And it will be hard to forget that your brain cells will eventually decay and wither, and your organs will start failing and you will die in a crude looking way.
B makes the most sense, but `Wiesel` probably believes differently. e.e
Wiesel studied the holocaust so it may just mean something different.
So its B
If you say so~
look at that
Ok thanks guys
I dont think its b
Ok now im confuzzled
It's probably D then. o:
If he was studying holocaust, he must be studying death and mourning, but in turn he would also be studying the ways people forget about them. Does this give a clear answer? Yes and No. Does it help? Maybe. Is this just me changing my answer? Maybe, maybe not.
The Talmud tells us that without the ability to forget, man would soon cease to learn. Without the ability to forget, man would live in a permanent, paralyzing fear of death. Only God and God alone can and must remember everything.
It's D then, Lot. e.e
Yes!
I was correct. cx
:D
Felicity did we help you learn the answer at all, or did we just mash your brains up even more?
I think we killed her. >.>
lololol
Ya'll mashed my brains up so bad
I have done my job beautifully then. Here take a five pointed shape thing.
