What was the Bush Doctrine? a belief that the United States had to protect its allies a belief that the United States had the right to remove perceived threats a policy of non-engagement with allies unwilling to go to Iraq a policy of multilateral engagement for the capture of Osama bin Laden a policy that stated the use of waterboarding was appropriate as a form of interrogation
I would say `a belief that the United States had the right to remove perceived threats` as much as I would like to say the final option. However, this doctrine mainly focused on keeping our weapons out of enemy hands, as well as promising to attack any nation that possessed weapons of mass destruction that might threaten the U.S.
Basically meaning if someone has a sword, we shoot them with a gun. If you can get that analogy.
thank you
