proofs and theorems with choices

Sarah10:

@563blackghost

Sarah10:

there is one more choice and its the polygon similarity postulate

Sarah10:

@AngeI

AngeI:

Oh, trust me you dont want my help on this. I stuck at this

Sarah10:

@Vocaloid

Vocaloid:

1 is already given in the problem, so Given 2. is a result of the midpoint definition given in #1, so definition of midpoint 3. is a result of segments MK = JK, etc. already defined in #2 so segment congruence postulate

Vocaloid:

4 is stating that MJ is composed of MK + MJ and the same thing for the other side, so segment addition postulate 5/6 given 7 is stating that <J = <J and if a statement says that something is congruent to itself that's the reflexive congruent property 8. I have no idea what this is trying to say (SAS theorem?)

Sarah10:

i was thinking seven was reflexive prpty

Sarah10:

i will take a better screen shot

Sarah10:

http://prntscr.com/i4ivlu i think its like the parallel sign symbol

Sarah10:

and there is an extra choice "polygon similarity postulate"

Sarah10:

is it 9

Vocaloid:

9 is a result of the similarity between the top and entire triangles (polygon similarity?) 10 is taking the result from part 6 and subbing that into part 9, so substitution property of equality 11. we multiplied both sides by KL to get this, multiplication property of equality

Sarah10:

very much appreciated !
