intensive = always the same regardless of amount

well, let's think of an easy example

if we have, say, x amount of water, and we double the amount, which one changes? volume, density, both, neither?

well, a basic definition of volume is basically the amount of space it takes up, right? so doubling the amount doubles the volume making volume an extensive property

any thoughts on density?
