for subject verb agreement problems it helps to isolate the subjects and their verbs [1] Tia and Jackie are [2] They have; they are having [3] Jackie would prefer; Tia is [4] they decides any ideas which one *doesn't* have sv agreement? as a reminder a plural subject needs a singular verb, and singular subject needs a plural verb
