math help plz :)
\[f(x) = e ^{9x^2-1}\]
i have two questions. first, how do i plugin e^-1 when i set the function to f(0)? second, will i get the right answer for f(0) if i plugin 2.7182818284^-1?
1. f(0) would end up yielding e^-1. Use your knowledge of exponents. That would be 1/e, correct? 2. Of course. But just take it's reciprocal instead, or however you want to do it.
yes i know the reciprocal is y = 1/e and yupp, i'm getting the same thing 0.367879441...so the function is continuous
i don't see any value of x that'd make the function discontinued at any way
In order to tell if a function is continuous at a point the function must satisfy these points: f(c) is defined limx->a+ = limx->a - limx->a = f(c)
Yeah it's continuous and also differentiable.
k thanks bro :)
calc
let me finish this first plz :)
i do have more and freaky questions tho
