Tutorial; Finding the "X" Value In A Mathematical Equation!
How do I find the "x" in mathematical equations? Well, This tutorial is here to help you!
Given the Equation 5x+5=40 You would subtract the number "5" from "40" which gives you "35"
Then, you would see the equation 5x=35. Furthermore, you would divide 5 on each side. Which then would look like...
\[\frac{ 5 }{ 5}=\frac{ 35 }{ 5 }\]
So your final answer would look like... X=7
Let's do another one, Shall we?
Let's say 4(x+7)=48 The First thing that will be done is multiplying the 4 to everything in the parenthesis
\[4x+28=48\]
Then you would then subtract "28" from "48". Which then the equation would look like...
\[4x=20\]
You would then divided each side by 4... Just like we did in the first equation.
\[\frac{ 4x }{ 4}=\frac{ 20 }{ 4 }\]
So, your final answer would look the same as the first one... X=5
How would we find x in this. tan(x)=1
Here you have to find arctan 1
