ok so the y-intercept is where our line will cross the y-axis. an ordered pair of this looks like: (0,y) our x is 0 and then we plug in the y-value for where is crosses. based on this, could you tell me which are y-intercepts?

Correct. If there is an X value that is not 0, it means we have either an x-intercept or an ordered pair. they key is having out x in the ordered pair be equal to 0
