What should be done if a friend is believed to be suicidal (but he or she has never said so)? A. Ask others if they have noticed the friend’s behavior. B. Compare the friend’s behavior to others’ behavior. C. Ask the friend if he or she is suicidal. D. Write down the friend’s symptoms for further observation.

imbadkidjenna:

i think its d im just making sure it's correct

Katrin369:

It's A or D. I don't think you will ask the friend if he or she is suicidal, it's just weird. And I don't think you will compare the friend’s behavior to others’ behavior, it just doesn't make sense.

Hoodmemes:

I'm not sure if a actual person would (Admit) they are (Suicidal) if you ask they could become offended by the question in general so you can cross off answer option C. I'd say you need to dig deeper into the situation observe them and their moods, what they say and do over time etc.. You can't compare two people behavior, not all people act and/or do the same things so you can cross off answer option B I'd say its between A or D hard to tell to be honest. You need more information on there daily habits (What they say or do around others "Including You" ) though before you go diving into a observation (examining them to see if they have symptoms of being (Suicidal) Which answer option do you think is correct?

boredfr:

I'd say it is A or C tbh but I would go with a bc everyone has A as one of there top answers and well....that is just what i would do

MadaKinni:

I believe it is either C or D. Probably C. A- The person that is suicidal can be hiding certain behavior and acting as normal as possible. Relying on other people's opinions will not make it help. B- Not all behavior is the same. C- This can most definitely be a good thing to do, because asking if someone of suicidal will make the situation more open to talk about, and possibly get them the help they need. Just avoid being judgmental. D- By observing and taking note of certain behavior, and can know whether the person is suicidal or not; but at the same time--- there is a possibility of them not showing symptoms.

mxddi3:

Jenna, i agree with you on D. The reason for this is because as hoodmemes said, we can cross off options C and B because people may not admit it, and all people respond to these situations differently. Then, asking others if they noticed it is something u can do so as not to assume. I'd personally go with D, but if someone has a better reason as to why it could be A, then they can share too (:
