@dude

dude:

I'm guessing you just have to write which type of angles they are, no? If so, then first one is one of the special right triangles (They're named by the angles) Second one has 2 equal angles ;p this means they also have 2 equal sides (You have probably heard it before. Remember: Equilateral, Isosceles, Scalene)

Allison:

No it's like AA SAS

Timmyspu:

Hmm like what way do we have to do it?

XxjazzychanxX:

what is it about

Allison:

Angles

darkknight:

@allison ill assume it means like isosceles, scalene or equilateral for sides and right, obtuse or acute for angles. Look at first one please do you see a right angle? that means the triangle clasified by angles is a right triangle. What about sides allison?

Allison:

Side angle side

Allison:

Or angle angle

Allison:

I don't know how to explain it

XxjazzychanxX:

oh idk how to explain with out answer but ill try

darkknight:

\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @Allison Side angle side \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) these are geometry theorems/postulates when comparing 2 triangles, we are labeling the triangles not comparing with each other. So we write down what type of triangle it is. For first one do you see a right angle? That means it is right triangle. Is it equilateral, isosceles or scalene? Look at side measures to see what type of triangle it is classified by in terms of sides

Allison:

I have no idea what that means.

darkknight:

For example first triangle, do u see the little box for the angle? that means its a right angle and the triangle is a right triangle. Now look at side lengths, all different so its scalene So the first triangle is a scalene right triangle

darkknight:

make sense?

darkknight:

u try the second one
