addi22:

help

addi22:

supie:

\(\LARGE\frac{4^7}{5^2}=\frac{4 \times 4 \times 4 \times 4 \times 4\ \times 4 \times 4 }{5 \times 5}=\frac??\)

addi22:

that gives me anxiety

supie:

Wait...I just realized that it's not asking us to do it that way @Razor you're sMaRt.

addi22:

so what do i do

supie:

I'm not sure that's why I tagged Razor-

CripQUEZZ:

I got this

CripQUEZZ:

Ok so first it’s set up like (4^7/5^2)^3 Ok so three on the outside is multiplying so it’s now (4^7 x ^3/5^2 x ^3) So do the multiplication 4^7 x ^3 = 4^21 And then the next one 5^2 x ^3 = 5^6 So now it equals (4^7/5^2) = 4^21/5^6 Hopefully this helps

addi22:

ummmm im sorry i am not good at math at all

CripQUEZZ:

\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @CripQUEZZ Ok so first it’s set up like (4^7/5^2)^3 Ok so three on the outside is multiplying so it’s now (4^7 x ^3/5^2 x ^3) So do the multiplication 4^7 x ^3 = 4^21 And then the next one 5^2 x ^3 = 5^6 So now it equals (4^7/5^2) = 4^21/5^6 Hopefully this helps \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) So that means the answer is C

addi22:

why do i multiply the outside

CripQUEZZ:

\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @addi22 why do i multiply the outside \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) Because the exponent is getting distributed into the parentheses

addi22:

okay thank you
