What are the new coordinates of the figure above if it is dilated by a scale factor, with the origin as the center of dilation? A. A'(2 , -3), B'(4 , -3), C'(4 , -4), D'(2 , -4) B. A'(1 , -3), B'(4 , -3), C'(4 , -4), D'(1 , -4) C. A'(2 , -2), B'(4 , -2), C'(4 , -4), D'(2 , -4) D. A'(1 , -2), B'(4 , -2), C'(4 , -4), D'(1 , -4)

"Scale Factor (Dilation) The scale factor in the dilation of a mathematical object determines how much larger or smaller the image will be (compared to the original object)." Meaning, this object will shrink as it gets closer to the origin, and become larger as it gets farther away. If we drew a line directly from each point on the shape to the origin, we can find every place it will dilate to (Example below), so, if you simply go to desmos, and plot out each possible answer, then draw the lines, you'll find the correct one. Each line runs through a point on shape (B). :> If I'm wrong please someone correct me and I'll delete this post right away.

thank you :3
