Enter several persons of both houses, who join the fray; then enter Citizens, with clubs and partisans. Citizens: Clubs, bills, and partisans! strike! beat them down! Down with the Capulets! down with the Montagues! —Romeo and Juliet, William Shakespeare What do these stage directions help the reader understand? a)The Capulets are the winners. b)The Montagues are the winners. c)Members of both families call for weapons. d)Citizens attack both families with weapons.
What do you think it is?
i think its d bc they say "Citizens: Clubs, bills, and partisans! strike! beat them down!" so that represents that the citizens are attaking
but it can also be c because that could be them calling for weapons
I know what your thinking and agree, because they were calling for weapons. They were calling for them to fire. Then again it could be D because the citizens may be attacking.
yea its tricky
im going to put d
Yeah Mk.
wel thx
I think that the answer would be D because in the book and the movie each part of their family attacked the others with a weapon.
And they killed each other
thank s
they killed themself tho
not eachother
and how did you do that that was cool
Well yes but romeo killed himself and juliet killed herself
yea thats what i thouhgt you were talking about
