Well since apparently the fact that I answered this question wasn’t enough, here’s an explanation along with my answer. I still haven’t seen one person who has answered this question yet so I’ll be the first. 1. Let’s start off with the Black Plague. The Black Plague was the last major cause to have greatly lowered the human population. 2. The industrial revolution increased the population significantly because during that time urbanization had just started to grow. The cause of this were factories who needed workers to manufacture their products and so many people started moving into the main areas where these factories were located for the sake of convenience. And since people were making more money in these factories, families were able to make more money and support more members in their family. Therefore this started to rapidly increase the human population. 3. The population drastically increased by 38 million people every year in the 20th century. This is because after the industrial revolution, the world started to become modernized and the quality of jobs began to increase in that they were paying a better wage for workers and also worker unions began to form. With more money, people were able to support more children and this is also related to the term ”baby boomer” (children who were born during ww2. 4. From 1950 to 2000, the population doubled twice. From 1950-1987 the population doubled. Then again from this time period to 2000. There’s your answer along with its explanation. Hope this helped.
