Shaypop:

Given that the quadrilateral shown is a rhombus. Which statements are true A) M<1=32 B) M<2=58 C) m<3=32 D) m<6= 58 E) m<7 =32

Shaypop:

Help fast

Shaypop:

Shaypop:

I KNOW SOME OF YALL UP

Shaypop:

Help me now

Shaypop:

I'm stressing out

jhonyy9:

do you now the properties of a rhombus ?

Shaypop:

Just help pls

Shaypop:

No I don't know the properties

jhonyy9:

what are the diagonals of a rhombus ? what make with angles ?

Shaypop:

Side by side

Shaypop:

Or they add up to 180

jhonyy9:

@AZ helped you a lot in the same problems - please remember

Shaypop:

Idk

Shaypop:

Is it c

jhonyy9:

yes you are right

Shaypop:

Is there more

Shaypop:

Is there more

Shaypop:

Ugh

Shaypop:

There have to be more choices

Shaypop:

Somebody needs to go faster with me fr

jhonyy9:

@Astrid1 any idea ?

jhonyy9:

the diagonals of a rhombus are perpendicular - what result from this ?

Shaypop:

B

jhonyy9:

@AZ opinion please ? ty

Shaypop:

I'll skip it

jhonyy9:

how can you calcule the measure of angle 2 ?

Shaypop:

Subtract it from 180

jhonyy9:

what subtract from 180 ?

Shaypop:

180-32

jhonyy9:

1+2 not add up 180 bc. there is not a line

Shaypop:

Ok

jhonyy9:

what you can calcule is angle 8 bc. how i ve said above the diagonales of a rhombus are perpendicular so angle 8 is a right angle - do you can use this to calcule angle measure ?

Shaypop:

180-32

jhonyy9:

yes you can write 32 +90 + angle 1 = 180 calcule from this the angle measure 1 = ?

Shaypop:

It's ,58

jhonyy9:

122 +angle 1 = 180 angle 1 = 180-122 = 58 angle 1 = 58 yes you are right but this is a choice ?

Shaypop:

Nope

jhonyy9:

look choice A what say ?

Shaypop:

It said m<1= 32

jhonyy9:

yes so what is false

Shaypop:

It say m<2=58

Shaypop:

The ones that are true

jhonyy9:

m<1 = 58

Shaypop:

It's B, C AND f

Shaypop:

I meant D

Shaypop:

It's 58

jhonyy9:

m<2 you dont know

Shaypop:

It's B c and D

jhonyy9:

i think nope you can calcule again angle 7

jhonyy9:

@Astrid1 do you understand ?

AZ:

\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @Shaypop Is it c \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) This is correct

AZ:

So the properties of a kite are angle 1 = angle 7 angle 2 = angle 6 angle (1 + 2) = angle (6 + 7) those two angles are congruent but the other two angles opposite each other are not angle 4 = angle 5 angle 3 = 32\(^o\) angle 8 = 90\(^o\)

AZ:

and since angle 8 can make a right triangle we have angle 1 + angle 3 + 90\(^o\) = 180\(^o\) 32\(^o\) + angle 7 + 90\(^o\) = 180\(^o\) angle 2 + angle 4 + 90\(^o\) = 180\(^o\) angle 5 + angle 6 + angle 8 = 180\(^o\) and we know angle 8 = 90\(^o\) so angle 5 + angle 6 + 90\(^o\) = 180\(^o\)

AZ:

So we cannot find what angle 2 or angle 6 is without more information but we can find out angle 1 and angle 7 and so 32 + angle 1 + 90 = 180 and 32 + angle 7 + 90 = 180

AZ:

Does that help? @Shaypop @jhonyy9
