okay
Are you trying to solve for x and y?
yes
Mhmmm, the easiest method to solve these, would be graphing, but the substitution and elimination method are also necessary to know Do you know how to use either of them? substitution or elimination?
ya
i just struggle with substitution 2
at least i think this is substitution 2
I think that it would be easier to do elimination for this one. Substitution means you'll have to do fractions lol and what do you mean by 'substitution 2'
theres 2 different types of substitution
i will show you my paper
I suggest using elimination for this one
but y and x arent on the same side
You don't need them on the same side As long as the x's are together, y's are together, it's good
....
3y=2x+15 2y=6x-18 I suggest multiplying the top equation, 3y=2x+15, by 3 By this, we can get 2x to 6x, and cancel x out Can you do that?
yes i will try
Like, just multiply the whole equation by 3 3y(3) = (2x+15)3
i got 9y=6x+45 2y=6x-18
Yep, and so now, subtract the bottom equation from the top one
7y=x+27
Why do you still have x?
because 6-6 is 0
So, there's no x It would be 7y=63 what is y
how did you get 63
i think i did osmethin wrong
45-(-18)
oh ok
y=9
Yep and plug y into any of the 2 equations, just pick one, and then solve for x
I GOT 6
Yep
THANK YOUU 😢
