@AZ
which one of the options would give you a good idea about how many hours the members spend gardening on average? you want it to be random so that way it is most representative
B? o:
because think about a similar example: you want to know whether people like ice cream more or cake more but if you survey people (even if it's randomly) outside an ice cream store asking whether they like ice cream more or cake more- then it's not really representative of everyone. It's going to be unfair because you're asking people outside an ice cream store
You're on the right track but B isn't correct think about it- would people who attend a class be representative of everyone in the club? The people who attended the class are probably more invested. Is that really a random sample?
D seems like the best one because they was there first o:
But is it really? Don't you want it to be random? If you just choose all the first people, then what about those who are coming last? The people who are first are probably the really excited ones and they're there early. And what is the event? It's a FUNDRAISER These people are here to give money. That means they really care about it. What about all the other people who aren't coming to the fundraiser? You want a sample that is RANDOM and accurately represents the entire group of members
A? C:
there you go
do you understand why now?
TY and yea e.e made more sense at the last one
No problem :)
