@dude can you help me with a few trig proofs pleaseeee

darkknight:

\[(\cos(x)+1)/(\sin^3(x))=(\csc(x)/(1-\cos(x))\] so yk that \[a/b = c/d\] is the same as \[ad=bc\] in that case we can rearrange the original equation \[(\cos(x)+1)(1-\cos(x)=(\csc(x)(\sin^3(x)))\]

darkknight:

next step, lets look at the left side, this is similar to the format (a + b) (b - a) where a is (cos(x)) and b is 1. Can you simplify the left side?

snowflake0531:

cosx -cos^2 x +1 -cosx = 1-cos^2x ohhhhh which equals sin^2 x

darkknight:

yes ma'am, while on the right side csc(x) = 1/sin(x) 1/sin(x) * sin^3(x) = sin^2(x)' u just proved it

snowflake0531:

hehe thank you so muchhhhhhhhhhhh xdxdxdxdxdxdd <3

darkknight:

<3 yw
