I need help
hey @slice! in our case, we can use the rule of three any idea what that is?
I think i need to dived but i forgot which way
ok, so we start with this
6 cups of sugar --> 8 pies x cups of sugar --> 12 pies
plus 4 for each?
and 6 divided by 8 is .75
\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @slice plus 4 for each? \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) no? how di dyou come up with that?
nvm i couted wrong
\[\frac{ 6 }{ 8 }=\frac{ x }{ 12 }\]
crss muliply?
thus \[6 \times 12 = 8 \times x\]
can you finish the rest?
8 x 14 ?
it must deal with a decimal
what is 6 times 12?
i got it wrong t many times it showed me it was 9
\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @slice i got it wrong t many times it showed me it was 9 \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) lets finish the equation, and we will then get our answer
it showed me the answer
9
yes, 9 is indeed correct!
i got it wrong too many times,so the thing told me it was 9
but how when 8 increased 3 then the sugar increased by 3
how
