At restaurants, high-quality seafood that was just recently caught and prepared is often described as “fresh.” How is the use of “fresh” in this cartoon ironic? [b] SS below.
well its a whole joke
instead of fresh from the ocean
its freshly flew over
not freshly caught, and seafood, to be considered fresh, it needs to be caught, but not flown over
fresh seafood comes from the sea, not from a lab
i hope that helpedd
The use of "fresh" in this cartoon is that the seafood here is flown in from a b. Which it would be fake fish, but fresh fake fish.
**lab
yeah, i could say i just caught "fresh" fish from a radioactive pond, but that wouldnt be fresh
The word "Fresh" is used in the cartoon, as it comes from a lab as said in the cartoon, "comes in fresh daily from a lab" and it is "flown" when it should have been caught. I hope that helps! :) Imagine :)
"thats what im sayin!"
Because otherwise, a lab is not needed. It's used to add hormones and things like that.
And used to "freshen" up the "fresh" fish.
Hormones and Steroids are injected into the fish and placed in the food to provide bigger fish and thicker meat.
Which is an add-on to QCB's answer.
