That being said, I still think D is the right answer; it would be very strange for a group of immigrant people not to adopt any of the practices of the place they're living in, which is why I think that one isn't true

No. I wanna say that D is correct because it is called, Mexican american- meaning both combined, it wouldn't make sense to name something that and their culture only be based off of one side or the other. C makes more sense because if you are moving to a new country then you are going to adapt and get jobs.
