Gucchi:

Which ratio best defines experimental probability? Number of times an event occurs: Total number of times the activity is performed Total number of times the activity is performed: Number of times an event occurs Number of nonfavorable outcomes: Number of possible outcomes Number of possible outcomes: Number of nonfavorable outcomes

Gucchi:

Am I right with B?

Gucchi:

@az

AZ:

hmm are you sure? let's say we're trying to find the experimental probability of flipping a coin and you flip it 10 times and you get heads is 4 times so what is the probability of getting heads?

Gucchi:

like maybe 1/4

Gucchi:

wait is it A?

AZ:

well it would be 4/10 based on my example but you're correct you want the number of times the event occurs over TOTAL times the acitivity is performed

Gucchi:

Oh ok

Gucchi:

Am I correct with A? @az

AZ:

yes

Gucchi:

ok thanks
