antman1:

Use the binomial expression ( p + q ) n to calculate a binomial distribution with n = 5 and p = 0.3.

antman1:

idk about this?

FexrlessRxby:

So the expression is p+q+n, correct?

FexrlessRxby:

Or is it p+qn

antman1:

no it( p+q)^n

FexrlessRxby:

So the numbers are (0.3q) raised to the 5th power correct?

antman1:

it shows disbrution?

FexrlessRxby:

Not exactly. What you need to do is multiply 0.3 times itself 5 times. Then it would be that number plus q So lets just give the answer the variable of "x" It would be xq where you would keep the q and make it to the power of 5. so it would be x (the answer) then q^5

antman1:

so x=q^5

FexrlessRxby:

Wrong-ish again. The answer is xq^5, where x is the number you get from multiplying 0.3 by itself 5 times.

antman1:

ok thanks
