So, let's first off convert the proper fraction into an improper one, \(2 \dfrac{1}{3} = \dfrac{7}{3}\) now multiply that by \(\dfrac{3}{4}\) \(\dfrac{7}{3} \times \dfrac{3}{4} = \dfrac{21}{12}\) convert it to a smaller fraction if possible \(\dfrac{21}{12} \rightarrow 1 \dfrac{3}{4}\) so \(1 \dfrac{3}{4}\) is your answer.
