"In simple terms, sustainable devel- opment means integrating the eco- nomic, social and environmental objectives of society, in order to maximise human well-being in the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs." https://www.oecd.org/dac/environment-development/1899857.pdf The goal of a multinational corporation (MNC) is "to maximize stockholder wealth on a global basis, as reflected by stock price" https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=1651469

`A primary goal of multinational corporations is to offer their vision for selling products or services in ways that are relevant to local cultures. A hit results in revenue streams and successful partnerships, while a miss leaves a trail of mistakes and misunderstandings.` https://yourbusiness.azcentral.com/primary-goal-multinational-corporation-28556.html `The concept of National Sustainable Development Strategy (NSDS) was proposed in 1992 in Agenda 21 (§ 8.7) where countries were called upon to integrate economic, social and environmental objectives into one strategically focused blueprint for action at the national level. The NSDS “should be developed through the widest possible participation”. And it “should be based on a thorough assessment of the current situation and initiatives”` https://sustainabledevelopment.un.org/topics/nationalsustainabledevelopmentstrategies

I don't know. That seems like a principle of a NSDS But would that be a goal of a MNC?

Seafoam:

If it isn't C then its D?

AZ:

D does sound reasonable but I don't know if multinational corporations would really care about each countries resources and needs. I mean maybe they care about the resources so that way they can best use it to increase their profits

Seafoam:

Yeah so then I dont know
