Turning and turning in the widening gyre The falcon cannot hear the falconer; Things fall apart; the center cannot hold; Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world, Q: The speaker describes anarchy as "mere" (line 4) in order to show that it (A) is insignificant and unimportant (B) is total and absolute (C) is a temporary condition (D) cannot be reversed or halted
what do you know is false
ok lets go thorough this one by one the story seems to be about destruction and how once the civilians(falcons) rise against the rich(falconers) something will happen with anarchy. But what is it? We can cross off A and C as those would both contradict with the message of the poem so we have B and D left what do you think it is>
this may also help https://www.litcharts.com/poetry/william-butler-yeats/the-second-coming
i think that may be true but I believe that b would be a better fit
