Find y. Y=
Man hurry up
ok what do u know about traingles
especailly this kind of traingle
Right angle
Please
m here im here
and how much does a right angle equal
so you know how i helped you on the last one? y is going to be the longest side so 7^2+x^2=y^2
so y is going to be a bigger number than 7, i forgot how to figure it out with angles- but if you want the last angle add the angles up and minus it from 180 because triangles angles always add up to 180
Yes. The long side is called the hypotenuse and it can be found using the pythagorean theorem. \[a ^{2}+b^{2}=c ^{2}\] where a and b are the sides of the triangle and the c is the hypotenuse.
thats what i just said- now shoo pls
??? I'm literally just trying to help
ik but i just said that-
I"m not saying you're wrong, I was simply providing additional information and formatting it in a different way since I know up carets can be confusing to look at.
i help them with their last one-
We're not using the pythagorean theorem to find x and y tho-
ik but it works the same way tho okay? i forgot how yto do it withthe angles
You have to use those trig ratios \[sin(\theta)=\frac{opposite}{hypotenuse}\\cos(\theta)=\frac{adjacent}{hypotenuse}\\tan(\theta)=\frac{opposite}{adjacent}\] in this case, 45 is the reference angle, s is adjacent, y is hypotenuse, and 7 is opposite
Is there more need for help here?
no
Ok :D
well, yes, 45 45 90 degree triangle makes it 1, 1, sqrt2
littleduckling wasn't the one who asked the question :|
Oh lol. So what is the current problem?
they're not online- you don't know what they're thinking, but alright
