A chloroplast has stopped producing ATP and NADPH. Which of the following is most likely causing this? A. The chloroplast has used up its supply of chlorophyll molecules. B. Electrons have stopped moving through the electron transport chain. C. The sun has risen and the chloroplast now can make more chlorophyll. D. Too much carbon dioxide (CO2) has started moving into the chloroplast.
A maybe?
no i dont think its a, its with moving and so what
like they stopped moving is the answer
so b then?
yes
are you positive?
mhm
ok thank you
your welcome
yeah just as an explanation: this question has to do with photo systems 1 and 2, with 2 producing ATP and 1 producing NADPH. Both photo systems require electrons flowing through each electron acceptor, so a lack of production of both ATP and NADPH would indicate that there are no electrons moving in the chain.
This diagram is relatively simple and explains well enough. https://guidancecorner.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/photosystem-1-and-2-diagram.png
