alexgame:

How many unique triangles can be made where one angle measures 60° and another angle is an obtuse angle? 1 2 More than 2 None

mhanifa:

What do you think?

alexgame:

2

mhanifa:

How did you come to this conclusion?

alexgame:

cause it cant be only one

mhanifa:

What if more than 2?

alexgame:

maybe

alexgame:

but not sure

alexgame:

there should be more i think

mhanifa:

Assume angle measures, one of them is given, the second one is not an exact measure. It says obtuse angle. What would be the sum of those two and the combination of three angles?

alexgame:

The total has to be 180 decreases because it is a tringle so 180 - 60 will be 120 and an absolute tringle needs to be higher than 90 so we will have 30 left and I think that will be enough to make more than 2 tringles

mhanifa:

Exactly. You can have many different angle measures for the obtuse angle and this will give you as many acute angles to sum up to 120 degrees.

mhanifa:

It means you may have many unique triangles.

alexgame:

so more than 2 is the answer

mhanifa:

Yes

alexgame:

thx
