To calculate you ahve to uses rise over run. Aka y_2-y_1/x_2-x_1 :)

Florisalreadytaken:

i dont know if you are asking for help or just showing us the answer? yes the formula would be \( m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1 }\) so the two points youre given are \( (-2, 2) \text{ and }(0,1) \) where they respectively represent \( ( _2 \Large {x} _1 \ , \ _2 \Large {y} _1 )\) thus you get : \[ x_1=-2 \ \ \ ; \ \ \ x_2=0 \] and \[ y_1=2 \ \ \ ; \ \ \ y_2=1 \] now plug those numbers in the formula and thats your slope.

Florisalreadytaken:

ooh it was two different people -- i thought it was the same person!

alexgame:

i did - 1 over 2 and got it right

alexgame:

but still thx for explanation
