JamesTDG:

I require some immediate assistance on this question... What is the mRNA translation process in eukaryotes?

JamesTDG:

@razor @pixel @ramen tagging in case any of you are online and can help me out

Pixel:

Where does the mRNA first travel to?

JamesTDG:

From what I have been trying to read from numerous articles, I got nothing...

Pixel:

okay

Pixel:

let me tell you the first step then

Pixel:

so it travels to a ribosome to be (???)

JamesTDG:

processed?

Pixel:

mhm, then it is transported where?

JamesTDG:

the cytoplasm?

Pixel:

yep then what happens

JamesTDG:

get translated into a protein?

Pixel:

yep

Pixel:

so what is the mRNA translation process in eukaryotes?

JamesTDG:

It starts in the ribosome to be processed, it then travels to the cytoplasm to be translated into a protein.

Pixel:

no

Pixel:

it starts in the nucleus, then travels by tRNA to the ribosomes

JamesTDG:

It starts off in the nucleus, then it goes to the ribosome via tRNA to be processed, it then travels to the cytoplasm to be translated into a protein. That correct now? If so, thanks a ton for the help!

Pixel:

yes
