NineTailedFox:

what is the mitochondria i need better description

SmokeyBrown:

Mitochondria are organelles found within the cells of most eukaryotic organisms. These structures are responsible for many tasks, most notably producing ATP as an energy source (which earned them the nickname "powerhouse of the cell"); mitochondria are also responsible for "signaling, cellular differentiation, and cell death, as well as maintaining control of the cell cycle and cell growth". For more information, please refer to this helpful article via Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitochondrion ("Mitochondria" is actually the plural; the singular is "mitochondrion") =D
