As it was stated above, I defined the wrong word, and I apologize. For further conclusion, here is an updated version for more clarification of the actual word you'd want to define; rhyme. Rhyme is a literary device, featured particularly in poetry, in which identical or similar concluding syllables in different words which are repeated. You'd find that rhyme is often occurred at the ends of poetic lines. Rhyme is principally a function of sound rather than spelling. As an example, words rhyme that end with the same vowel sound but have different spellings such as: day, prey, weigh, and bouquet. This is true for words with the same consonant ending as well: vain, rein, and lane. Rhyme is therefore primarily independent of the way words look or are spelled. Writers use rhymes as a way to create sound patterns in order to emphasize certain words and their relationships with others in an artistic manner.
