How does a plane work detailed answers, please... List the following, how it's powered, how it stays uplift, and how they're able to glide across the air while being so heavy.
A plane is powered via a variety of ways. However, all planes are powered by some type of engine that runs on fuel.
save for some plans that are battery powered.
Most plans today are either powered by a jet turbine, or prop engine
working on it
Lift is creating by foward movement and the wings of the plane.
The wings are shaped in such a way, that the bottom side of the wing has high pressure, and the top side of the wing has low pressure. By pressure, I mean upward force.
okay go on good sir...
Here is an image illustrating this:
Any plane, no matter how heavy it is, if it has a powerful enough engine, and the proper shape in the wings, it will fly
The gliding effect is a result from the processes I explained already. As the speed of the plane slows down, the plane drops in elevation, but still maintaining lift.
Thats the bare minimum. If you want to know how a plane maneuvers in the air, or other facts like that, theres a little more explaining required
