ThronesnKings:

Why is it that when fractions are multiplied we can multiply the top by the top and the bottom by the bottom. But when they are divided we divide the top by the other fractions bottom and vice versa? Who came up with this solution for math? I'm struggling.

TETSXPREME:

Welcome To QuestionCove Well divide is like the opposite of multiply even when not doing Fractions

TETSXPREME:

idk who made fractions but ik fractions came from latin word which fractio = break

ThronesnKings:

Math will always be complicated in my mind but that makes sense, didn't know about the whole Latin thing. That's super cool

xxDeppressionxx:

its just a part of the math history, that’s why we struggle because we are not the experienced with this subject or maybe any subject.

xxDeppressionxx:

this is only because of the people throughout history was more experienced with all of this stuff, they where the people that created this subject.
