The First Continental Congress was the first meeting that required one representative from each Colony to attend in which they formed an alliance against the British. hm, to elaborate on that, i’d maybe mention something on how it was the first step towards equal representation. i think that’s a key concept you should mention. yes, each state had one delegate to the convention, regardless of the size. this started the equality in the voice and representation of each state. they also came together and as a whole were able to discuss their shared feelings toward England, thus uniting them further. It helped them realize they weren’t enemies of one another.
