Gucchi:

When positively charged particles were radiated onto a gold atom, most of the particles went straight past. What is most likely the reason for this? Dense area inside the atom Empty space around the nucleus Scattered positively charged particles in the atom Electrons and neutrons inside the nucleus

Gucchi:

am i right with B?

Gucchi:

@kiwipop1

KiWiPoP1:

Yeah I'd have to say it's B, I don't know how much I can explain it but yeah, atoms can just pass right through because of the empty space around the nucleus

KiWiPoP1:

Well not atoms passing through, but particles passing through
